jammyhk01
I visited Huang Chi last Sunday afternoon. My observation is that this place seems mostly for chubs and chasers. There was a wide age range. There was scarcely any action in the steam room, which I think is way too big to be filled up (e.g. compared to the old Chuan Tang). There was a prominent sign at the entrance of the steam room warning against improper behaviour, so not sure if that was the reason lol... herodai
On 27 December 2015 at 3:49 PM, Guest Guest said: It is at xin yee road. U take bus 508 out side si pai metro station ( bus stop at the right side in front of far food shops). U alight the bus when it reaches xin yee 3 bus stop. U follow the bus direction walking a bit up slope and turn right. U see a big open car park and u will see quite a number of hot spring places. U can choose the one u like. U have to take bus 508 at the bus stop opposite the road when u want to go back to si pai metro station. From there u can go down to taipei metro station or go north to visit tan Sui where a lot of local shops and hawkers. Enjoy your hot spring and good foods. On the way back from Huang Ding. Think like to add on more info whiich could be helpful. 1. Don't worry you don't know where to stop. There is a PA system in the bus! That is what Singapore can learn. The PA system will announce Xinyi Lu 3. Then you know you have found paradise. Haha 2. Can use the you-you card to pay for fares. No need to prepare coins like I did. 3. Don't bother to take cab from Xinbeitou station. I asked two and both only know Huang Chi but not Huang Ding. If you take cab and they don't know where to drop you. Ask them to drop you at the slop leading down to Huang Chi. Then walk up along the winding road and you should see another slope leading down to a couple of saunas. Huang Chi is the first one you will see. Can't miss it. 4. Oh I did not know I have to bring my own towel so went home wet

sphere
*herodai, just now you were there too? Haha. Previous page had in depth elaboration on the place already, so I would just share what happened the past two nights. Friday, which I suppose a public holiday for the first day of 2016, the queue to 皇鼎 was crazily long at 6+pm when I reached, there were already 30+ queueing (no locker, full house). After about 30 minutes, the queue hardly moved and it became 60+ long. Decided to quit queueing and headed over to 川汤 instead (don't want to waste the trip all the way and don't know how long to wait). Nothing special at 川汤 as there were no queue at all - things changed indeed. As for Saturday, in order not to be disappointed again, I managed to get in earlier by 5pm. It was pretty crowded already but the steam room had no action yet (still bright from the daylight). By 6pm, the crowd started to stream in and could see some action started in the steam room already (it's night sky!). I have to say it was really a nice visit to this new hot spring, should be everyone's favourite hang out place eh, haha. Quote Happy - is what we should be, always. solomondude
Was at Huang Ding today around 7.30pm. It was a Sat night and a long weekend - therefore I assume to be the peak period, quality of guys should be better. You can spend just NT200 for the hot spring of NT400 with the food (to be consume before or after soaking). I ate after soaking and the food was really lacking. Go to Shilin Night Mkt instead - cheaper and better. Someone posted a map on the layout. It is accurate. Most people actually congregate nearest to steam room. Clientele Type - 80% of young people. The rest are either chubs or old (no offense). Tbh, SG wins in terms of body over TW. Hands down. The average body is only so so. Their facial features win SG any time of the day. But if you observe carefully, most Taiwanese have similar feature set (unless they have Aboriginal blood). They are handsome no doubt but if everyone starts to look similar - the wow factor gets diluted. There is no action besides the steamroom which is like size of 2 HDB toilets. It is packed like sardines and people play with each other. But majority are still very shy and only do it unless they are very sure. At most Jerk Off - no blowjobs observed. The people avoided the chubs inside. Old is kinda hard to tell in steamy dark room but still bright enough to see their dimmed face. A highlight of the trip was that I did not know I need to bring a towel. So I asked this Taiwanese guy if Huang Ding gives out towel. He said No. I was worried. Sensing my worriedness, he took out his pack of 2 towels and gave 1 to me. It was very generous of him.. I insisted on paying him back but he declined. I experienced first hand the spirit of Taiwanese Hospitality in a G Hot Spring. And to boot, he was quite cute. It's a pity after we both stripped naked, we went to different areas. That being said, I would say Taipei City people are more cautious and guarded than I previously thought. After all, they are living in a metropolitan city same to us (the stress level and pace of live). They will not suddenly be friendly towards you. It is the same thing with Japan. However not all people are like that - it is just my on the street observation. It is quite difficult to get to know or hangout with a Taiwanese. Some are pretty stuck up. That said, what sets them and us apart is that they are much more LTR orientated. They would even decline my invitation to my room even if they are attracted to me physically. In SG, its a clinch but please don't think I am a sexual deviant. To me at this stage, I seek out longer lasting relationship than ONS. solomondude
Back to Huang Ding observation. You can bring a small towel for modesty but most will just use their cupped palms to do so. Don't go in with high expectations. Most people just beo here and there. At most if the guy soaking beside you is keen, he will try to strike a conversation with you. Den if you guys have a good chat and chemistry, either you or the guy can go deep and touch his dick or balls. That's what I observed. Like I mentioned - the body is average at best. For every 20 bodies, only 1-2 is considered fit (not muscular) by SG standards. Face wise - yes much more good lookers. To sum up my trip there - I would say Huang Ding is the best G Hot Spring for now. Chuang Tang is probably deserted. At Sat 8pm I think there were at least 100 people using the hot spring (I noticed their queue system). 200 a big exaggerate la haha. The owners seem to know the hanky panky in steamroom but these days business is hard. So long the level of Hanky Panky is restricted to mild fun - they will close one eye. There are many buses from Xinyi road to the MRT. If unsure, ask around. Don't expect a cute guy to follow you home just like that ^^ Taipei people do not think the same as we SG people do. Difficult to explain in words but if you are there and interact with the locals - you will know. Conclusion Huang Ding is a memorable experience out of other lacklustre (super quiet) hot spring experience I had. It is like a little cruise club but much more tamer. The gay scene is often changing in Taipei so do rely on recent news to make your travel itinerary.

xenia
Had the most awesome time in Taipei over the long weekend. Managed to catch the lube night at Aniki, a hundred guys, horny as hell, slippery with lube all going at it. Rubbing, gyrating, humping, sucking, f*cking and moaning all over. The scent of sex was overwhelming. Catch it when you can guys. 5th Saturday of every month I think. It's just that they did this one over the NY Holiday. Also went twice to Huang Ding. Both times I had a great time at the steam room with two young Taiwanese chaps. Awesome bods and beautiful c*cks. Don't be shy to start, they respond with their erections haha. Went around 9 pm last Wed and Thurs. There's also a small shower area behind the main lockers. Also had some action there. I had both Grindr and Jackd on all the time. Both are well populated but Grindr guys seem to be more daring. Managed to get a 3some last night but make sure you insist on wearing (or they wear) a condom. These Taiwanese boys like it bare. Not good! Be safe always! whynot
alexanderli2014
i was there around 6plus in the evening. super crowded and they turn away a group of boys as it was slready full. i managed to get in with another friend. the diagram provided previously was very helpful. was mostly at the sauna side pools as the steam room side was too crowded. not much action as many were just observing one another. herodai

Guest smu_dude
Went to Royal before Christmas and was sad to learn that Luke no longer work there. Chose Sam instead, and OMG it was fantastic. Apparently he is a top even though his looks might appear to be more bottom-ish. Pressure applied was just right. There was HE... just say that I came a lot. His tool is average but man he knows how to use it well. Tipped him for the good service. Even got the recipe of the tea they served for me. It is that personal touch that I appreciate. I do miss Luke's huge curved tool though. That could hit the right spot almost straightaway! I wanted to make an appointment for Frank at MyHome Salon, but unfortunately he is gone too. Anyone knows where Frank is now? Or anyone has got his contact? Went to Aniki one of the nights too. Oh man, it was damn packed for a weekday night. Taiwanese boys are so much more proactive unlike many passive SG boys. But I wasn't too sure if most people there were Taiwanese, considering that it was a holiday season. Had a few rounds before I finally release my load. By the way, for first timers, the entrance can be a little confusing. Took a while to figure out how to enter.
