Cube3
Will be in TPE April 2nd to 8th. A few unusual queries (if anyone has answers!), haven't been there for years... 1. Should change Taiwanese currency in Singapore or over at Taoyuan airport? 2. It will be springtime. - Will it be good time to view flowers e.g. cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, and which are the must-see gardens? 3. Have previously found the food there to be slightly bland? compared to Singapore taste. Besides 卤肉饭,will be going for smelly beancurd and definitely the original branch of Din Tai Feng. If staying around Ximending, what other delicious, value-for-money must-eats should be savoured? Sorry, this is like Jeopardy quiz for TPE experts! Appreciate any kinda feedback... * Of cuz, hotsprings, massages are also planned...any new tips not mentioned so far would be great!

I remember somewhere near the red house, got a shop sells ba chang served in a gravy. Along the shopping belt is the Ah Zhong Oyster Mee Sua. If got time take a bus to Yehliu Geopark. I did some mountain trekking at Yang Ming Shan National Park oso, see the volcano and do the hot springs there. Make sure u change more there cos only in Taoyuan they won't charge a fee or the fee is much much lower. Generally I have found that the rates are better there than in Sg. 2. For cherry blossoms in Taiwan see link below: where https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/rtaiwanr.wordpress.com/2016/01/11/taiwans-top-10-cherry-blossom-destinations/amp/ when Around March. Because Taiwan is much warmer than Japan, cherry blossom opens there earlier compared to Japan where they open end of March to early April. https://www.tripzilla.com/taiwan-cherry-blossoms-2017-forecast-where-when/52143 3. Taiwanese food is slightly bland but very good in its simplicity. Good suggestions to eat - u have to catch the MRT for these: Jin Feng Lu Rou Fan near CKS memorial MRT station. There is also a branch in Ximending on Kunming jie. This is the considered one of the best Lu Rou fan in Taipei Formosa Chang a chain restaurant is also good for Lu Rou fan. Look for yellow sign wth the bearded face of a man Lin Dong Fang Beef noodles - Google this. Considered one of the best in town Ah Zhong Mee Sua - googl this in Ximending itself For dim sum and xiao long bao go to Gao Chi - Google this. Cheaper and as good as Din Tai Feng. They are famous for their Shen Jian Bao The best place for food and a Gao Chi branch is Yong Kang Street - catch a train to Dongmen station. Walk down the street - almost every restaurant is good there. There is Vietnamese Pho restaurant on the right hand side a 100m down the road - in front of the Pho restaurant is a really famous Cong Yu bing stall - spring onion pancake stall. Opposite this is a famous mango Ice shop. You will see a queue at both these stalls. In all the famous night markets Shihlinn and Raohe you will find amazingly good and cheap food. Shihlinn has an underground food stall market with many stalls selling stir fried veggies and dishes starting at 100NT ($4) a dish. hope this helps Cube3, voyageenfer and Confused Loner

U can try outcall massage - some of the earlier reviews have suggestions, so won't repeat them. The key is to check if the website says "泰式" style massage. If yes, that means B2B. Which naturally means that the masseur will definitely be nude. In such circumstances, touching is inevitable. Anything more depends on chemistry between you both. Technically, what's offered in outcall msg is msg, not sex. If the website never says thai style, eg : dry then oil msg, then there's no B2B. The masseur is not obligated to even strip. Note that Royal Spa never offers B2B, the site clearly says its dry then oil msg. If there's chemistry, the masseur may do more. But again, he's primarily obligation is to provide msg, nothing more. i read a few pages back, someone mention this. is that true?? thai massage by right the person being massage is not even topless, it is with clothing both top and btm. how can it be thai massage means B2B?
