My friend tried to negotiate with him to RM2000, and the police agreed. Otherwise, the police wanted to keep him in jail for three days. He was even escorted by the police to the bank to cash it out so that he could be released.

 

From what he shared, I advise everyone who goes to Padang Polo to be more vigilant from now on because it is no longer safe there.
 

I suggest you park your car far away instead of parking it closest to the public toilet. Park your car far away and walk through the middle of the field. 

Once you are done, leave immediately and do not linger in the public restroom area of your vehicle.

 

Additionally, Raffel Parks was raided last week and since it is a community park, local residents also reported it to the local authorities. Be extra vigilant when you are there.
 

For cruising, you might think of the safest places like 1st Avenue/Perangin Mall toilets, All Season Toilet, USM Red Wall, Moongate (safest because the main road is blocked and you can only enter by walking) as well the toilet at Botanical Park or Padang Brown.

Having pornographic materials [still or motion] in any device under your possession/ownership is an offence. 

Not sure if that extend to inclusive of app related to "dating" or SNS related to LGBT+

Then can the apps run without a physical device in regardless of legal or illegal apps? Even caught for surfing illegal site or apps also is not subject for the cops to arrest because there is no evidence showing someone nude or practicing sexual outdoor activities publicly. Furthermore if cops found someone on LGBT apps in their devices, they have no warran authority to arrest someone as it does not cause harm fear or anxiety to public. If yes also, the arrest authority is under MCMC and not cops. Bear in minds cops has a lot of more priority matters need to deal with.🤪🤪🤪

I'm not in the law enforcement industry. No comments on your statement. 
If you think we're an open secular country who embraces LBGT+, then one shouldn't scare nor hide in the closet and practise openly like our neighbouring country at the small southern island.

That's merely the politicians who playing all these games. Likewise if really unlucky to let cop discover having all these apps in your device, back to my  fundamental point nothing to worry and fear about as I believe everyone here has their own rights. ✌️

My friend also told me that the police can frame you even if they know you have the authority not to subject them to an inspection. If you are snobby to them during inspection, they can throw you two packs of something just to frame you, or they take you to lokap for 2-3 days for nothing and waste your time. I think we just have to be vigilant or extra careful and not to face all of these situations.

 

But anyway, this is actually a good tip and information from my friend about Padang Polo and the recent activities happening at Raffles Park.

Juru RNR

Recently, I visited the newly built toilets at Juru RNR, which were officially opened for public use. The toilet is designed entirely out of bricks and the toilet cubicles still have flaws as the partitions can still pull out some holes to act as glory holes or peepholes. I’m sure it won’t be long before there’s a peephole for us, given to be that we are so naughty. Ha ha!

 

The left side is designed as the women's toilet, and the middle is the children's changing room and OKU toilet. On the right is the men's room.
 

After the renovation, the toilet is much cleaner than before and feels larger. 
 

The first thing that catches your eye when entering the men's room is the dressing table on the right. Going further in, there are standing urinals on the left and all the toilet cubicles on the right.

 

There are still cruisers around, some regulars. I reached there around 1 to 3 pm and I saw at least 7 to 8 people lingering outside the toilets as some benches were provided outside the toilets.

Yes, this is what I'm worried more; framing you with other offences which could land you into other troubles including but not limited to overnight in lokaps.
