Guest 72%dark Posted October 14, 2015 Report Share Posted October 14, 2015 I think the kind of reasoning that goes, “What you have, other guys also have, so just get over your shyness,” doesn't quite work because the basis for people judging their own and others' bodies is not what they have but the shape, size, etc. Just read the comments on any of the hotbod threads to get a glimpse of just how picky exacting people's standards can be about bodies. And it's not just gay men who are body conscious either; if you observe the guys working out at gyms you'll notice that straight men constantly ‘check out the competition’, so to speak. So, to the extent that certain body types/shapes are idealized in a culture at large, you can't really blame people for feeling self-conscious if their bodies don't conform to that ideal. They dont seem to care..i havent tried flaunting my dick in the open..maybe because Im not used to it and in my country people dont normally go naked publicly...
