azuchan
Hey guys! So I've been tasked with organizing my family's reunion dinner with the extended family, and I have Muslim relatives (married into the religion). I need to find a Muslim seafood restaurant which offers good food for about 15 pax. Budget not extremely important (has to be affordable) since this time round the relatives in my generation will be chipping in. Do any of you have any suggestions? All are much appreciated! If non-Chinese cuisine is ok, can try the Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant at Furama. If use credit card for the 1-for-1 Promo, it's only about $30 or so per person. Nice hotel, nice food... http://www.furama.com/specials/riverfront/cny/#dining_kinta

Cube3
Perhaps can try a Halal Zi Char...order a variety of Chinese dishes. Not specifically seafood but they have variety... http://danielfooddiary.com/2014/05/04/segar/
Coolbriz
You might also want to consider Carousel @ Royal Plaza on Scotts. It's halal certified and serves good international buffet. Quote Be cool, like a breeze...

Much too high for a family gathering... I watched Pornsak recommended a seafood halal restaurant in some ulu places in Tampines ...wonder what is included in their menu and the price bracket. ckson
A friend of mine is in a similar situation as yours and here's some tips to pass along. In general, the experience is that halal chinese food or cze char is no where near normal chinese or cze char food in terms of standard. 1) MacKenzie Rex at Prinsep street -- http://www.macrex.com.sg/ This is a very popular halal cze char place right at the heart of town. But the standard is just kinda average and service can be sloppy sometimes. Call to book early if its a reunion dinner. 2) There's a list of top 10 halal places here : http://sethlui.com/best-halal-restaurants-singapore/ And from that list, it sounds like Rasa Istimewa at Woodlands is worth a try -- chinese muslim food in a good ambience. Cheers!

limpeh
Guys there's an app called The Halal Dining App (available on iOS, not sure about Android) which my company uses for team lunches. The app is fairly new and some are stock images of a restaurant location.
