I collect banknotes, mainly replacement banknotes ( Z prefix ) and solids/golden numbers ( eg CD 888888, FC 999999).

Mostly NZ, Aust, SG and Malaysia.

An expensive hobby.

Collected lots of comic books and toys since young, now after passing a certain age, suddenly lost interest and the collection feels quite pointless and just occupying a lot of space.

Insert comment about collecting cum.

No but seriously.

I collect quiet moments and chilled thoughts. ^_^

I started collecting beanie babies years ago before they became so popular. Now you can't hardly give those things away.

I collect 'Lodge' brand cast iron cookware. Also most anything 'Lodge' makes. I recently purchased a couple of their cookbooks. Also have a trivet or two and hot handle mitts.

Use to, I would collect cat figurines. I'm still partial to cat stuff but I don't actually collect it.
I have thought about collecting cat salt/pepper shakers. I figure that is something small, won't take up much
space, and you don't find cat salt/pepper shakers every day.

I like glass jars. Yes, I know. I don't collect them but I do seem to have a strong liking for glass jars. Go figure!
And I do have quite a few.

Also I like glass jars and canisters that have cork stoppers. Don't ask me why because I have not figured out
why I like them. Must be gas on the brain.

Pls do not dispose them, your items may be vintage collectibles.

I wonder if some here may turn out to become hoarders? My father became such a serious case that I had to renovate the entire house and used it as an excuse to throw away some of his stuff. He had 3 bookshelves, 2 armchairs, 2 wardrobes and one bed, all in one bedroom before the renovation. He only had one tiny path to and from his bed to the door with all the clutter. I even had to lie to him that I have put his things in the external warehouse till the renovation is done. But the moment he forget about them, I'd throw them away. It took me long enough though, almost an entire year after the renovation, in fact. And when he found out about what I did, he had a fight with me.

He just couldn't bear to throw anything away. He even kept expired medication and eat them when he doesn't feel well. There was once he gave my family members moldy Panadols to eat, resulting in a hospitalization case. And he can continue to use the disposable shavers even after they have RUSTED. A particular "donation centre" (I won't name who and what type) even beg me not to put any more things at their place anymore,  even though those items were still usable.

We came from a poor family so he really try not to throw anything away, and he "collects" back home "useful" things from outside. The renovation cost me some really big bucks, but I think it was all worth it at the end of it all. It really helped in his health matters and that made a lot of difference to me. He even won a bit of Toto after we cleaned out the house completely.

Now, he is still starting to do some hoarding. But it is much less serious than how it was in the past. So I can still open one eye and close the other as I thought I should let the old man indulge in himself just a bit once in a while. But I think he also know the seriousness of his own previous case now,  so he is also practicing a bit of self control too. But I still do quietly throw out some of his things when he doesn't know.

And looking at some of the things you guys say you "collect",  eg glass jars and Pharmaceutical, I suspect you might be on the verge of "hoarding" now. Just be very careful, OK? It creeps up on you so slowly that you won't even know that it hit you.

Well, some of the comics have yellowed over 20 yrs, not in pristine condition so they may not be worth that much, some titles are not worth that much in the first place, and probably can't even beat inflation even if I sell them. The toys are mainly G1 Transformers, a couple of them still have their boxes but very used and played with.

No one I can leave them to after I die also.

Yeah, its G1 Optimus and Megatron with their boxes, played with of course. Remember bought it from a toy store (could be Toys R Us) at Wisma Atria in the 80s.

老饼时间。。

After shifting houses several times in my life, I lost and cried over the lost of my collection of old SHAW Brothers' movie magazines 南国电影.  I remembered when I was very young, I used to browse one particular stall at the 细黑街.

There was this old man who sold old magazines.. yes, I had fond memories of scouring those his lot and imagine there are only 12 editions per year,  the oldest I'd bought was Edition 5 第五期 from 1950s.. It was basically a black and white movie magazine with several coloured shots of the glamorous stars of that era..

Used to collect Pokemon trading cards

OMG I used to collect it too! If only I kept and treasured them; saw online some rare-ish cards are fetching a pretty penny now.

I collect namecards. I have 7 full boxes of namecards at home. Now starting on my 8th.

Same here. Own a few vintage ones like the crystal/gold star pokemon that cost hundreds each. Very proud of them hahah.

Aside from that I also collect swim medals/trophies and other memorabilias from swim meets.

I collect a whole load of stuff - rubbish to others but treasures to me.  My most precious collections are:

1)  219 barbie dolls include the whole range of Bob Mackie's (small collection compared to a friend who has over a thousand dolls)

2)  38 antique dildoes made of different materials including metal and wood and several new ones which are softer and more pliable (not kept at home but in a small rented studio apartment in Bangkok)

3)  63 pieces of antique jewellery including 19 princess rings previously owned by Thai royal family members, about 2 dozens old peranakan intan.  Other interesting pieces I bought from antique shops, pawn shops and auctions.

Suck my tits and I'll lick your balls.

Lick my arse and I'll suck your cock.
