We went for an anti-spoofers ops around ubi area recently and managed to take down a couple of lvl 10 gyms. Thereafter, it seems like the chrysanthemum teams are much lesser in that vicinity.

Awesome hatch! I can understand how you feel! In this case, having a perfect IV doesn't seem desirable. I got my hitmontop after taking 50/50 chance on a few hatched tyrogue.

I feel you bro... Out of my 5 only 2 had iron tail/stone edge, rest all fire blast.. So so frustrated!! I really want a bite/stone edge set!!!

i have 4 iron tail/fireblast, and 1 bite/fireblast.

I have seen bothTydemaster and the Shinrenelaine ones before.  Confirm botters/spoofers who invaded my estate a couple of times.  See them, evict them.

Heard that they are a bunch of just 4 fishing kakis.

Rock event, pinapples, buddy.  I caught enough in London to evolve one as it is.  And I've got 7, all legit.   Unless you count the use of pokemaps....

 

 

 

At least you got 100%s....  mine are all 91-86%, even the hatched ones.  Though I did not know it has fireblast.  Mine are all Bite+Crunch and Bite+Stone Edge.  

Hahah I joined the telegram groups for notifications.. and my area has a whatsapp group chat as well so we inform trainers within our vicinity if rare or high IVs spawn.. for my 2 100% larvitar at Mount Sinai and NUH..

Just hatched one larvitar today, so have just enough to evolve into tyranitar...it's a real slog, hardly ever find any around Chinatown/Marina Bay which is my territory. - But consolation is GBTB now got lots of wobuffets, so at least my jogs can be somewhat productive!

Haha, I just use sgpokemap.  Prefer not to be interrupted at the wrong times esp if busy at work.  But its good you managed to get your larvitars in the town areas.  Mine are all from outlying areas - Tuas during those times my friend drove us out to catch together during the initial weeks, and the Kranji nature reserve area when there to shoot birds with another friend.  Plus of course the haul from Rock event.

Oh, didn;t know GBTB became wobuffets.  Not really caring about the nests these days, mostly just whacking the occasional gym for fun.  A week plus since returning and am still collecting free coins from my European "holdings".

Yay Fire & ice event! Flareon is probably the fire type Pokémon I would love to go for and since already completed ice medal, Will be selective in getting ice type. Don't mind having more lapras too

I'm not too sure about the details but they could be using the original Pokémon story as the lead? Cos from what I understand the skills and capabilities of the Pokémon follow the story.

Went with a friend to St John+Lazarus Island yesterday on cat business.  The ferry also stopped over at Kusu on the way back.  Noticed that ALL the gyms on the islands are occupied by the SAME yellow spoofers/botters.  Pity could only see the gyms, as the boat was out of fighting range.

 

So for those of you who want daily coins, a good idea is to travel to remote places and take over a gym or two there....

I gleefully plonked my one-and-only Blissey at a New Zealand airport gym last month. So happy it would earn a few coins...and now, a few weeks later and she's not back, I'm devastated. Where is my beloved Blissey? When will you come back to me?

I've still got 7 mons across southern Britain and western France, four weeks now!  Take picture then take gym, then park gym.

 

Hopefully next week's Fire+Ice event will spawn plenty of lapras for those of our friends here who need one.

Yes, can collect daily 10coins, but can't use her in gym strategy e.g. add into gym to make it more formidable. Since she is my only Blissey, gotta rely on Snorlax and Dragonite, and they don't last that long... (sigh)

Wow, I don't mind having my blissey in NZ. If only I had one back then when I was in NZ! Imagine I have a confirmed 10 coin to collect everyday and I just need to whack another 1 or 2 gyms locally just to get 20-30 coins everyday! Envy envy!

Lol but won't you wanna see her plump cuddly face everyday, and be able to plonk her into a gym to strategically slow down its being taken down? Gym wars are getting so challenging since everybody has strong pokes now...a Blissey makes a real difference!

I notice that here in Sg/JB, Blissey towers are not all that tough, despite the botter >3K Blisseys parked.  There are a number of Machamp/Exeggutor users who take down such towers so quickly, there's even an auntie in my estate who uses all-Vaporeons to do it and do it fast!  Its the varied gyms that have a mix of dragon/rock/water/tank/psychic that makes a challenge IMO.  Both my Blisseys parked in UK were kicked out within a couple of days, while my mons still parked today are a pair of Dragonites, a maxed-out Espeon and a Rhydon.

Am also awaiting the gym-rework.  Less interest in the Fire+Ice event though.

Ya but like what meowprince said, somehow ppl tend to want to take down blissey than other Pokémon as it's a kind of achievement to be able to do so and it's really pretty fast to do so if there is a team of players whacking the same gym at the same time. According to trainer's tip videos, with a team of 10 players, you can taken down a lvl 10 gym of blisseys without much need to heal yr pokes. 

 

Let's see how gym reworks going to turn out, if they restrict all same Pokémon type in a max lvl gym, it will be a different game play. I will miss gym though for that period of time lol

I guess Singapore's situation is unusual...cuz so many blue gyms! And since I'm blue (not deliberately) it's helluva task to prestige against several Blisseys in a row. Even if you work through the lot, the prestige points are super miserly! - Whereas if there're other 'slim and fit' pokes, now topping them is a breeze

 

So if I wanna collect multiple coins, Blissey is great for slowing some attackers down (if not Blissey, who?)...cuz need time to take down/prestige other gyms.

Singapore is just such a weird game landscape. Gyms are regularly under attack; I know of players in Chinatown who have 3 accounts of different colour so they can manipulate gym line-ups e.g. kick out bottom poke until you have Blissey at the bottom - so irritating to prestige against! Some wanna take down EVERYBODY...no teamplay whatsoever.

 

Or maybe it's just here in Chinatown

All three colors, that's crazy alright!

 

But my side there is one idiotic retiree who would sit by the carpark and evict ANYBODY who tried to park mons in the gym during the weekdays noon-2pm.  And up till now, he is a mere level 28.  Guess some people are just a few tiles loose on their roof.

Just curious, at what point in time during egg hatching is the Pokemon determined? I was walking a 5km egg I got from back in May, and it just hatched this morning and gave me another Sneasel. What are the chances that it was already a Sneasel when I first got it in May?

This question was asked of Niantic boss couple of months ago. He replied that the egg-poke is predetermined, based on where the egg was collected. But in my experience not quite, cuz just before the Fire Ice event the 2kms started hatching charmanders! Before, at last year's Halloween, a few 10km eggs also exploded into Jynxes in succession...

 

My guess is perhaps eggs are poke-predetermined, but during event the programming overrides the predetermination and gives an event-based poke. So during this event, I'm hesitant to hatch my 10km eggs because I don't really need another lapras (or other Fire/Ice pokes)...
