My bf likes even more expensive watches, especially those with Jewellery encrusted. So no queue outside to be my bf unfortunately....

i did go out with a more humble guy who wore a Seiko watch. I must admit I was a bit embarrassed when we met my friends at club and they were all shocked to see us together...

It's nice to be rich...

In your club, are your friends judging people from their watches?

Watches wld be the most obvious give-away. Your belt, shirt, pants, shoes and ur accessories like ring or bracelet or chain...

never wear fakes or that wld be the real end of world... So it wasn't that bad for me w that guy wearing a Seiko.... I could explain it away...

I worry Apple Watch when I was fucking this young ass. I told him I wanted to know how Long I fucked Him for and we agreed to 30 minutes. That's basket auto-cum after 10 minutes of hard pounding in his ass! I kept going while he begged me to stop but I didn't and I cummed just when my Apple Watch beeped 30 mins! His cock was as limp as anything though.... I apple watch is definitely my fav itits watch to wear for having fun!

I find a good expensive watch is a must. I am very particular in the watches I wear. It must look good and expensive as this will show my status.

I am very much into NIXON watches as it is both expensive and has prestige! People will always ask me about my watch and why I wear such an expensive watch. You can see that they are jealous of my status.

As I am also a fashionista, I wear it with my Pedro shoes and bag

A Nixon watch is hardly the way to show prestige and status.

It is because only those with taste and class wears a Nixon watch. Not everyone can afford a Nixon watch. You should see my colleagues eyes pop out when I wore my Nixon watch. I own a pair of these.

I sometimes also wear my Armani watch as well as a CK watch. People always go Wah when i wear my Armani watch as they envy I can afford to have an Armani watch.

Those brands of watches are mass produced. Where is the prestige in wearing those watches? A true fashionista will be caught dead wearing a watch that is owned by many people.  Prestige is wearing limited produced craft watches from underground brands like Nixon.

For your information, Pateks are never mass produced. Only a few in each series are done in a year. the sky turbillon for example....only 4 a year and costs about 500K.

Even if you can afford it , you may have to years ago wait for FEW years to get one.I am extremely lucky to get one series of the first annual calender many years ago where no more than 50 are produced for the world. Mine in platinum (only 20 of them worldwide). Pateks are so understated that only the very few know them. They are not meant for too showy. They are understated elegance.Btw i have four pateks and 4 rolexes. Rolexes are so rugged that i use them for sports and outdoor rugged activities.

What are those brands you talk patek or turbillon? Patek sounds like Ah Pek. I cannot imagine any fashionista will be caught wearing a Patek or whatever its called.

I much prefer my collection of Armani watch, CK, Fossil, Kenneth Cole and Nixon watches. THese brands carries more prestige and elegence than ah pek Patek or turbillion. What kind of brand is turbillion? Sounds so flashy and Cheena..like it is made for PRCs.

It is Tourbillon, not "turbillion".

Tourbillon is NOT a brand (FACEPALM). It is an addition to the mechanics of a watch that improve time accuracy. A Tourbillon watch starts from S$100,000 to as high as S$2,000,000 and beyond. Many important brands produce Tourbillon watches for the high net worth customers.

Patek Philippe is one of the most important and well respected brand for watches. It's starting price is around S$30,000. Hence, Patek target audience is not the mass market.

RM = Richard Milles. Richard Milles is fairly new in town and has done extreme well over the pass few years. A basic RM ( RM10) is around S$100,000

Different league altogether.

Though I have a Patek too but I am not a big fan of it as I think it is expensive mainly bec of the heavy advertisement. My Favourite Brands  are Breguet and Ulysse Nardine. I used to buy such expensive watches years ago but find that you don't really wear them once you stop work By in the corp world. Servicing these watches are also expensive so maintenance is not cheap!

If I can see you in person, if ever one day you appe as r in front of me and I hear you make those statements , I am gonna say to your face ," you are a shallow person and tak malu".

You lack self confidence and you base your own worth on an external piece of metal hanging on your hand.

Take away that patek watch and you are lesser or worthless?????

You and what you do and what you project into your surroundings and people around is more important and worth more than the watch.

Just ignore. It's one of those anonymous posters trying to troll. It's obvious that $200 "fashion" watches like Armani or Calvin Klein will never be on the same level as the holy trinity of pp, ap, vc (he probably doesn't even know what those initials stand for) or even rolex. He probably can't even afford a simple $8k rolex datejust or even a $2k tag heuer aquaracer so is projecting his sour grapes attitude on everyone else :)

we have diff income group in bw

so let s all be understanding

some may find fashion apparel brands like Armani  very "designer wear" , and prestigious and they do not know that there are some brands like Richard Mille or Frank muller that might cost a 5rm flat pricing too

not all are into the other end of prestigious watches

At different phase of life, diff brands have diff impact on our life too eg a fossil is expensive to a fresh grad? and diff people have diff priorities

some may spent a lot on good food and clothing but not so much on watch

I don't judge a person based on his watch too

Am sure most of us here used to have a Swatch and Casio, the square flat type, while growing up? :)

Watches, for most men, are a form of accessories. So much so that nowadays, we can leave home without a watch, but not without our phone; and a phone tells the time too. Plus, it works even better, when you travel overseas (local time & roaming time) - you get 2 time zone!

Everyone appreciation towards watches are different -

1) My former lady boss who owns a shipping firm -  she drives a 5 series, dine at expensive restaurants - but wears a DKNY (that watch cost less than $300).

2) My reservist mate - drives/share a family MPV, eats at hawker centre, but his collection of watches are Rolex, AP, Panerai, IWC.

Get what you like and you will wear what you like.

Armani, CK, DKNY are international ICONS in the fashion world. These are world famous people who make luxury products. Fashionistas are all into such prestige watches.

I read some people list down penarai, AP, patek..who are these people and what are these brands? Never heard of such brands in the luxury world.

U keep on stressing CK, Armani, DKNY, which is mass production watches, and tend to copy the design of high-end watches.

Seriously, i dunno in what ways is it fashionista.

i don't hate this brands but to me, its a low-end watches, never buy on normal occasion. there will always be 50% off at city chain. 20-30% on normal days.

i dunno why u keep on stressing that u can afford these watches while yr friends can't.

Perhaps, u are surrounded by ppl with low-income. thats why they envy u.

Open yr eyes wide.

Those fashionista watches are for kids. Buy, wear some time, can throw liao. No collection value.

Nixon watch? fashionista?!  my goodness. Give me free also don't want.

U want fashionista watch? buy the high-end one, example - cartier, LV.

Love my $15 casio digital bought from mustafa which I use to wear daily to work. After a few years just buy a new one.

Been through the stage of buying expensive watches, think when you are younger you just to own something expensive and forgot whether you actually need them.

Firstly, I admire those with the spare cash to acquire expensive stuffs - like cars, watches, clothes, bags and what else..

Secondly, I would advocate to live within your means.  If owning an expensive item boost your self-worth, your self-confidence, so be it.  Do not let "keeping up with the Jones" attitude affects your general well-being. Should your friends judged you based on your material wealth, then sorry you are in the wrong circle.

Personally, I stop wearing watches for more than 30 years since I owned the pager in the 1980s.  Yes from the pager, I moved on to different mobile/cellular phones throughout these years.  For me, wearing an extra piece of item is excessive.  At my previous work/industry, there are always clocks around and as I am so very forgetful every time, losing personal items can be a real pain in the arse.

Turn back the clock ..Anyone remembers Johnny hates jazz?

Image result for 90s pager
