My experience of Law OF Attraction:

Back in the early 80s..(1982 to b exact.. yes some of you still in the womb... ) There was this nice polite Hokkien peng ( Yes, hokkien chinese hellicopter army boy) whom i find interesting. He was a GD man (That was how it was called in the army in those day, GD or GT ) His work area was just next to mine. I was in the admin. We talked often, in hokkien of course. At that moment he gave me the impression that he was a home boy type who helped his mother at the farm. Yes we do still have farm at that time.... He the typical stocky beng type. I got no sexaual thought towards him , just friend..Those day, I dont even know what is Gay or that sort of thing. Just male bonding. ..Days gone by and we both ROD or ORD whatever, We went our own way.

Years later, I found out about my orientation and my inclination towards man and life went on.. Twenty years later.. All of a sudden, his image came to my mind. Very often.. Then I began to think, he might b gay if he is the mom's boy. Thoughts of him came to my mind very often.. thinking.. thinking.. then bam!! .. 4 or 5 years ago. I went to diamond..(Old diamond) , and I just recognised him went I saw him. Just like me, now he is an uncle liao.. hehe.. I came up to him and told him I know him.. slowly he recalled. We chatted about old time. And of course end up, we "did" what we "didn't do" when we were young and robust. Like old time he is still the quiet uncle stocky type.

who is a trucker now. Yes drives lorry for a living.

So my moral of the story is... Law Of Attraction do work!! Keep thinking of what you want. You'll b surprise what you wish for will come true..

Why is the Law of Attraction not working for me?

The main components to the law of attraction

Many people mistakenly believe that all they need to do to activate the law of attraction is to sit in their living room and visualize having what they want. While this is one important aspect of it, it goes much deeper and involves much more than this. Action, belief, allowing, and letting go are all key elements that are required to successfully activate the law of attraction in your favor.

SO TELL YOURSELF, I AM RICH, I GOT AMPLE OF MONEY!! IT WILL COME!!

Why do rich business man become richer everyday.. Because what they think of is making more money!! Money is always in their mind, Hence money they will attract!!

And the poor always say No money, Not enough..Bo Lui etc etc.. so how to attract them. All they think is No No No.. So change your thoughts.. Think of what you want and NOT WHAT U DONT WANT..

" I don't want to see Peter. I am sick of him"

So this "Peter" keep appearing on your mind. So the more you don't want to see him, he more he will appear.

So think of what u want. eg. "I want to meet Mike! Wonder how Mike is doing now??" Ta dum... Coincidence or not.. Mike appear.. Believe it. It happened to me.!!

As for TOTO.. wait for your turn hor.. In Universe, you still have to queue up hor!!

Every body in Singapore is projecting this Law of Attraction to win TOTO.., and we only have 2 TOTO a week. So not everyone in Spore can strike on the same TOTO at one time right?.. Q up and be Patience la..

maturemedium, thanks for inspiration that one day I will definitely strike toto!If you want me to chose between striking toto and finding real love,tell me what "the law of attraction" predict.I am not pessimitic in life I face reality I want lots & lots of money to made my life happy I can use the money to buy sex not love. i beginning to understand more when you keep writing and explaining. it is so true, how simple things can be taken for granted. How we quickly forget and dismiss all the good things that have taken place in our lives.

Law of Attraction works hand in hand for the believers. Maturemedium has given a very good indicative magnetism to be in synch with the law. It's the polarity of the thought that governs the end result [law of cause and effect] - rich gets richer; poor gets poorer, love becomes loving; hate becomes resentful and so on.

Basically, it is the work of neuro-linguistic program (NLP) where the dominant thought (the mode of perception) increases with the outcome.

On Value of Money:

First, we need to understand what is our perception with money?

Many people want to have more but, deep within them, they have a perception that money is a root of all evils. They envision fear of getting greedier, fear of being robbed, fear of unduly personality/attitude change, fear of finding a 'gold-digger' and so on.

What is our perception with abundance?

The rich gets richer because they live believing that their money makes money. They are more willing to encash with their dollar. Simply, they know their money's worth.

However, many of us live our life counting on our money. We worry if we are to overspend now, that there will be not enough balance to see us through. Here, it is not the case where we should just start spending - you need to have the money to make money. Remember, in the Law of Attraction, it also works when you have zero money in the bank, you make zero investment.

Do we, already, have a Game Plan?

To dream is good but to dream without a plan is just as good as having a good sleep.

Many of us dream to strike Toto but, and seriously, do we already have a good detailed plan of it now? Do we have a matching perceptual mode of the event? Or are we still having limitations generating our judgement and evaluation of a negative kind?

Where are we now?

Checklist:

- Do we still need to count our money when we see a beggar right in front us?

- Do we still count our bank balances when we throw a big expensive treat?

- Do we still constantly complain that everything is expensive?

- Do we intentionally cut our parent's monthly allowance?

- Do we count every cent and feel that one cent is such a big deal?

- Do we still believe we have no money?

In Law of Attraction, it is not 'Why' we don't accomplish but 'What-When-Which-Where-How" can we achieve it.

I just thought of adding my 5 cents worth to this discussion of the Law of Attraction. As I understand it, if we spend our energies focusing on the things and situations we want, it will happen if 1.we ask for what we want, 2. we believe that it will happen 2. we take (inspired)action to make it happen 3. be thankful with what we already have and 4. have the right frame of mind to receive what we ask for. To the detractors, just view the Law of Attraction as basically principles on positive thinking.

Abundance is the birthright of everyone but we are all limited by our own limiting thoughts. People who are successful believe and know they will be successful although they may not know when that will happen. I agree with Ikutube..get rid of our Poverty Consciousness but if I may add, and be thankful for all the blessings in our life, which is a major magnetic force to attract more goodness and abundance. :thumb:

It's end of the year again and I am feeling especially lonely. My 1st boyfriend was my JC classmate, we had some problem and separated but got together in the Uni. However, things did not work out and we decided to break during 3rd year in the Uni. We had not met or contact for more than 10 years! For the past few days, I can't help and keep thinking about him -- the good times we used to have, the places we went etc.

Then suddenly today in Raffles City, I was using the escalator up to the 2nd floor and saw a familiar face coming down on the other escalator. It was him. He saw me too. He stopped at the end of the escalator on the 1st floor looking up at me while I stood still on the 2nd floor looking down at him. For a moment, we did not move and seemed that we did not know what to do next. He finally came up again and took my hand. It all became very formal, shook hand, say hi, .... He's now married with 1 daughter. We exchanged number and he suggested we'll meet one day for a coffee. I continued my window shopping while he rushed back to his office.

Is it the Law of Attraction? Has my thinking of him (for the past days) make us meet again after all these years ? Or, having me think of him is a "sign" of us meeting again. I just find this very strange.

Anyone has similar experience?

I once had a huge liking for a schoolmate, we used to chat for hours on the phone.

Back then we din have hp nor pager and we lost touch for short period after A lvls. But he is always in my mind.

But miraculously we met again in BMT, we were in different company but just different floors, again we will meet up during "admin hours" and chat for long hours....

Still i din have any hp nor pager and we lost touch after BMT, but i kept thinking of him.

Then when i was posted to a new unit after ~1year of training, miraculously we met again, same unit, but different company.

I always thot it was fate.

well, in buddhism, we would consider this as a cause and effect... certain things are meant to be... and the happening of that effect, is pending for the right circumstance to happen...

I used to like this guy from my school since Sec 1(he's from the A class, I'm from the E class).

I thought it was just infatuation or crush, so whenever he walks past, I'll just look at him for some eye-candy.

However, when we chose our Subject Combinations in sec 3, we got into the same class.

Throughout the 2 years we spend in the same class (sec 3 and sec 4), we'd never said a word to each other.

Not even a 'hi' or something, my feelings for him continue to grow though.

So at the end of our O's, on the day of the last paper, I mustered up all my courage and confessed to him.

He gave me a weird stare, laughed a bit and said 'Okay...' then he told me he needed to go off.

About 2 - 3 years later, I saw him at one of the toilets of some park. He was with another guy, kissing each other.

Then, I looked at him, he and his kissing mate looked at me.

I went on to pee instead and they continued their business.

At that point of time, I was wondering - why did he not go out with me at that time and that he's got a boyfriend.

However, I met a better guy later on and we're still going strong even after 4 years.

The laws of karma and the laws of attraction have very strong smiliarities and co-relationships

Karma - effects of a caused generated.Thus You receive what you give or You get what you deserve

Laws of Attraction - all thoughts are things because thoughts are energy with vibrations. thus vibrations created will manifest into a solid thing or an event. Thus to disseminate itself it will have to manifest.This is the law

Thus the highest form of witchcraft or magic solely uses the mind power without aids of anything else.

Thought =energy = vibration = creation = manifestation = disintegration

Thus nothing in this world is permenant

Why ? this is simple

In karma when two people love eact other, there is already an attraction between themselves. Thus they come back many lives as lovers mother son daughter ur beloved granny your best buddiess etc with many many combinations etc.

But when they have enough of experiencing with each other (and literally get bored) they go off and seek experiences with other souls

When two people with so much animosity, they will come back many times to hate to kill each other until one of them being more enlightened, sees the futilies of such negativities, understands the illusions with love and compassion will then move on to other experiences.

But the one who is still full of hatred, he will a) continuel to experience his own negativities alone to himself and bear the fruits of his thoughts

b) attract a smiliar soul of hatred and they continue this saga till one of them let goes

I sometimes strongly suspect the long time trouble and animosities in the Holy Land, who were the same old souls, who continue coming back since day 1 and continue fighting with each other till them drop dead.

By the way, thoughts are so strong that when you think or miss someone who is dead and crossover, they can feel your loving- missing- you thoughts. Its so strong you don't even know they are in the same room as you

I've had this happen. Me and my date met up at The Pit and before I could formally introduce myself he said he forgot something in his car. I simply nodded and sat back down. What's sad is I was able to watch him get in and drive off. Still, I made the drive. So I had a nice meal, a glass of whisky. And a piece of keylime pie for dessert. After paying the tab I debated on reaching out but he straight up took off without saying a word instead of saying he wasn't interested anymore. No way he was gonna answer my call. I accepted it and just cruised on home listening to tunes lol.

Does any law of attraction apply to abominable people so miserable as your date that day?  

 

I prefer to think of "law-of-attraction" when it relates to physics.
