Not sure if I am the only who feels this way, but going to an onsen can be about making conversations, finding like-minded friends. Since a lot of time is spent in the waters doing nothing. Doesn’t have to be anything “notti” or hanky panky.

Should be heading over later.

Agreed. Will be heading down later in the evening

When it first opened, it was a good place to visit as there was a Japanese gentleman in charge of the operations who saw to it that the facilities were well maintained and the customs and etiquette of visiting the onsen were respected. Sadly he has left and the place has now run to the ground. The waters are not regularly changed, the steam room is freaking hot and the patrons are not there to use the onsen. If we care about this place, we should feed back to the management to clean the facilities, change the waters regularly and reduce the temperature of the steam room before someone suffers a heart attack!

I really do agree with the part of the steam room being ultra hot, I can only stay in it for a bare 3 mins before I go out gasping for air due to the room having too much steam

The place is super cruisy now w undesirables prowling about looking for action, especially during this so-called promo period.       I prefer to go during non promo periods.

How you know the waters aren’t changed regularly?!? Is the hottest pool supposed to be like brownish in colour?

I’m having second thoughts about going there again after reading this O.o

So there was a promo, paid about $27, don’t ask me when it will last till. They said “check Facebook”.

The good: moderately crowded (2-3 per pool),  no kids, some eye candies... gosh, guys in specs can be very cute

The bad: One or two creepy ones, either keeping watch outside the steam room, or the eyes really just follow.

Promo at least till end of the month. Enjoy!

I agree. Was there yesterday afternoon.  Saw group of guys didn't shower, 1 guy with underwear,  1 guy brought in mobile phone. The one with mobile phone was then reminded  by his friend. It shows that there is lack of checking or warning signs at the entrance.

These people knows the etiquette but just being recalcitrant and defiant. I told off one guy for not cleaning himself before jumping into the pool and he was adamant and egoistical. I just give him that nasty look because he's in the wrong! :swear:

I think I shared before too that the management seems to ignore feedback. I even gone to tell them at the counter. That’s part of why I hardly drop in to use onsen. Towel etiquette is one that I notice - very glaring when dipping used towel into the onsen pool.
