Seems that my hot & cold resistance is better now... or the steam room temperature lowered..? can also tahan the bubble & silk bath heat too... Cheers!

The Pink water, Onsen pool closed for maintenance.
Jet pool, one of the hand rail is missing.
Few mosaic tiles in the soda pool dropped off...
Think due to the 1+1 promo, heavy usage.

Saw few cute guys & angmo enjoying the facilities... Straight guys admire man's bod & bird watch too... caught ya!

The hottest pool still closed for maintenance. FYI - tiles are dropping off. Some maintenance work gg on. Got burnt on my hands and thigh by the sealant which has not yet properly dried. This happened to me on the first pool (CO2). Already feedback to management.

The soda & onsen bath were down yesterday.. the water pressure to shower and water cooler was terrible low.. 

 

The onsen is lack of Maintenance.. 

cant expect better for paying $20 bucks but hope can be improved when paying $40 instead.

Low water pressure due to high visitorship, without promotion, I'm sure not an issue.

 

The ladies onsen was full, quite a number were turned away with a handful waiting at the reception.

During the 1 for 1 promotion,  the ladies onsen is full. Quite a common scene.

How about man work hard for their taitais to enjoy life?
Can go onsen (澡堂) after a hard day at work. Give yourself a pat. It's not a daily visit. For chillex, blood circulation, treatment, self discovery, mingle, help the economy move...
It's a saving too. Need not fly all the way for the hot spring.

Just attended my friend's youngest brother, wake... Life is so fragile, so unpredictable. Enjoy it while we can... Work hard & play hard... Afterall life is not all about work...

but yunomori seemed to be birdwatching in this circle

the more Life is fragile and unpredictable, so time to focus not on the dicks in yuno
go out there and play, tour the world etc, listen to some good music at home

I enjoyed the weekdays without promotions. The crowd is just nice, ample space to chill at any pool I want without squeezing awkwardly with others.

 

The profile of the onsen goers are different too. Even though still largely AJs, less people there to socialise, hence looked less like an AJ hangout den. Mostly straight acting. Surprisingly quite a few young AJs too despite no promotion.

You happened to be lucky...on weekday nights sometimes the regular hyper ones are always there....and it is so frightfully obvious who they are...always waiting at the entrances of the sauna or steamroom looking across at either rooms, keep 'stalking' people,  'scanning' inside the rooms for 'targets' and not even heading in...fyi straight folks arent dumb...and there must have been complaints else no reason the service staff keep checking always. And apparently some dumbass ones also attempt to 'play' at the shower area too. Utter stupidity...

Here's my story, mini guide and little review of the "popular" Yunomori Onsen and Spa @kallang wave mall (my vajajay monologue also included) :

 

I visited the Yunomori Onsen and Spa twice on the 4th Nov Friday and  5th Nov Saturday. ( night time)

 

Since it was my first time visiting the local onsen, I got a little excited ; so excited till I got lost along the way.

 

After a long distance walk, I finally found the place...(seriously why issit located so far far away)

 

Upon entering the premises, I quickly take off my shoes like a pro and put into the foot locker, and get the set of shoes key.

 

The friendly girl greeted me and ask me whether it is my first time, and she quickly help me register. (see IC and ask Hand phone number)

( during your next visit, just tell the receptionist your hand phone number when checking in)

After exchanging the shoes key, I was given the locker key and I put on my wrist.

 

I quickly glide into the male baths (blue sign, don't go to the wrong ones), there's 3 person at the male bath counter,( 2 younger male and 1 older ah pek)

(depending on the day and time of your visit)

(All of them are very friendly, actually I find the ah pek very nice. If you have any questions to ask, they will be so happy to guide you )

(they macam the park ranger, making sure every facility is in order and fine and making sure there's no extra activities inside the onsen) .

The person in specs will roughly explains to you how you should do your bath, and pass you  1 small towels and 1 big towels.

 

I make my way to the locker (I find it very small but still managed to put my bag pack in), I stripped everything like a pro again, the older men beside me kinda like staring but I don't mind at all.

I take the small towel and sashay my way to the baths ; Shower clean and get ready to soak in the onsen pools.

There's variety of pools to soak in, ranging from soda bath, the white colour ones (silk bath or whatever name), the head rest Jacuzzi  style pool, purples coloured ones, cold pool and etc.

 

@4th November Friday: the crowd is mixed ranging from younger generation and older generations, the jap executive (theres something about the Japanese eyes that is so distinctive, once you saw them you immediately know they are jap, even when they don't open their mouth), student etc. . Most are eye candy (depending on your taste) and they are not shy at all. Hanging around nude in all full glory, of course there's also plenty of shy ones who use the small towel to cover their kukujiao. The pool area is pretty bright so you can admire men's body from all sort of sizes.

There's nothing much to do here except to relax and soak in the hot pools or enjoy a bit of steam bath, and sauna and enjoying the sights.

There are 2 TVs near the pool area but they air some silly promotions catalogue thing.(they should air some movies, news or perhaps just slow music)

There's the salt steam bath if you want to detox a bit, or the normal sauna if you want to sweat your excess water out.

 

During my soak, there's this guy X that attracts everyone attention, short hair, stern face, a tattoo,  chiselled body, huge arms, tanned, well groomed pubic hair, pretty standard size circumcised dick. (his aura scream" I'm gay, I'm gay)( his face very stern macam people owe him money), He got his exhibitionist streak in him, does not mind walking around and parading around without covering up. I can see everyone likes to follow him around from the pools to the sauna, steam bath. However, since this is a place to unwind and relax and not some gay sauna  so I don't think people will make a move on him.  ( layman term : I show you mine, you show me yours. But no touching please) (The staff that guards the place will frequently go in the steam, check on the salts; tidying up the chairs at the shower area; walking around. So most likely no "gay activities" going on or maybe there is haha; who knows what happens in the steam room where the misty steam air obscure the visions.) ( I am very neutral about what is right and what is wrong, so do whatever you want to do). Then there's  also a dad who brings along 2 boys, children, along to the onsen, kids can be pretty playful and noisy inside the onsen. But who cares right.

after the soak, steam and sauna, I rinse off, shower clean and check out. ( they do have the lotions, hair dryer, tissue, so you can use them freely) ( you can change into their jap outfit Yukata and step out to the jap café which serves decent food) (or can try their massages) ( it comes with a price)

 

@5th November Saturday: ( don't ask me why I'm so free go visit twice) the crowd is again the same, the usual expatriates, BW buddies, the familiar looking faces uncle, etc.

 I actually saw some BW members comes with groups of friends. Wanted to say hi, but maybe I rather not. There's this ang moh that soak In black coloured underwear, but I guess we are more forgiving towards them haha. Then I found him showering with the underwear on which is a bit weird. The purple pool is working again, so there's new pool for me to soak in. (They really should make more pools for people to soak in)( how about wine, champagne chocolate, etc.) Then theres the uncle, who loves to sit down at the chair there and ogle at people, I'm not saying he is a creep but he is too obvious and wanted something more....

 

Conclusion: I find my skin feel smoother after the soaking session, I usually shower cold water when rinsing off so that the pores will close back.

and  my blood circulation has improved. Good place to relax and unwind and see see people, whatever that means to you. I find the pricing is a bit overprice for soaking in the man made hot pools. Its not as if its a authentic Japanese volcanic hot springs whereby I am sure the water content has more healing and therapeutic properties. Will I go again? maybe Once in a while, but not every weekend. Unless you go there just to admire people junk.

The 2 TVs shows the queue number for the massage services.

 

The TV in the sauna is full of advertisements if they do turn it on.
