The areas to look out for would be the steam room or sauna whereby "interested parties" will be darting around to find other "interested parties" giving signals. Its very common for people to chat you up at onsens in Japan or bathhouses in China. Esp the older folks. Onsens at Japan and Bathhouses at China are very much like our community clubs. But if people chat me up at Yuno... Hmm... And i Do find your tattoo looks pretty good =). Anyway, I had been searching online for Tattoo friendly Onsen in Japan, and there are a few that pops up... so you can google them too...
