Just came back two days ago from Bangkok and visited the Yunomori Onsen there.

Had one of the best spa experience - enjoyed the baths, body scrub and aromatherapy massage.

Went twice - the first by myself and the next session with a colleague.

 

Have yet to visit to visit the Singapore branch. Looking forward to this soon.

We may not be surprised if yunomori onsen (singapore) winds up after its first 2 years' lease here, the minimum period for businesses anywhere.

 

Starkly, the current 2-for-1 promo brought back wednesday didn't pull in the client volume close to last and early this year's after the initial fanfare. 

 

Thwarted patronage because of certain die-hard cruisers doesn't help neither.

I think Yunomori's reputation is quite tarnished and it's not easy to reposition itself again. I'm going to agree that if you want to have random, casual fun, go to a gay sauna all day, any day.

Excuse me ah...straight fellows doing it...so means u HAVE to do it also ah? Theres a reason that INAPPROPRIATE behaviour is NOT tolerated in the onsen. Besides...how do you know that folks have not ALREADY complained? Just FYI, there have BEEN complaints and more than just a few about inappropriate behaviour. You think its okay cos its all man and nudes and all and assume folks don't mind. Well i've got news for you okay. People DO mind. Just because its hard for staff to catch folks in the act doesn't mean that it is to be tolerated. Anyone, gay OR straight is NOT supposed to do such acts in ANY onsen. UNLESS it is a GAY onsen, then no one gives a shit. So, YES. If you see someone doing such things in the onsen you can either call managment OR tell someone to stop OR you will call the management. And whose to say that even if YOU don't call other folks won't call either.? People do NOT announce loudly when they are complaining in the onsen okay.

Yunomori Onsen Sg only has 1 outlet. Another outlet is in Bangkok. Even if anything happens there, its normally NOT as exaggerated as what chargingbull says. Becus things that DO happen there normally happen with overly horny folks BUT who are more sane-mindedly discreet. Not to mention steam room normally very hard to see anything cos of the steam so unless one has Superman's Xray vision, or the person is standing only 1 metre or so away from you hard to see anything.

Its interesting to note that even though I visit the onsen regularly I have not seen the kind of blatant touching being described before. Probably someone trying to encourage and promote such behavior so as to get and achieve his fantasy which is what I think all his descriptions are.
