He went to a ENT/plastic surgery (ENT = Ear nose and throat) clinic for consult for nasal septum deviation. Offered a nose and jaw surgery (plastic surgery to a certain extent) for a discounted price, in exchange for becoming a spokesperson for the clinic after the surgery. The price will be dropped from 100,000 NTD to 5000 NTD. He agreed. He was accompanied by his girlfriend to the clinic on the 18th June 2016 and underwent the surgery. According to his gf, the usually short surgery was extended till 4-5hrs long. In the recovery room, the male model suffered complications and required resuscitation. He was subsequently sent to the hospital where he died. He will be undergoing an autopsy to elicit the cause of death. The male model is a very handsome dude with fair skin, well defined abs and all the lines u want.... (人鱼线，鲨鱼线） He has modeled for clothes, acted in a short movie. He also had a pictorial done of him by the famous Blueman from taiwan. (if I've identified correctly from the photos - nude pictorial) Anyway, I decided to post this news as it seems such a waste that such a young and handsome guy died from a simple surgery. RIP! Just for the record, the discount given is meant to be the endorsement fee for the model in return. It has nothing to do with the skill of the surgeon. Runway, Editorial, Commercial, Fitness, Fit, Hand... each type has specifics that casting agents look for. I.e. if you are going to be a fit model, you basically stand in a showroom all day while designer and the team worked on draping and sewing the dress on you. You need to have industry specific body types to do that. The sample size measurement is very exact. Runway models are different requirements. Think of the hand model used in the early iPhone ads.
