solomon
Just a random topic here. How you guys think of joining the gym classes such as Lesmills Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Attack, etc.? Do u think just purely attending any gym classes and not using other gym equipment are a waste of membership fee? Any constructive feedback are welcomed. Brocklm
Personally i go to fitness first to use their equipments and facilities. I don't go for classes as I don't want to restrict myself. Others may have their own opinion. jdu

I don't find those gym classes are really that helpful in the long run, which is why I stopped going with my kakis who are still enjoying going to such sessions and yet not much change in their fitness level
Brocklm
I mean some pple says its really effective for them and even go to the extent of chasing similar classes at different outlets. I personally dun feel it that way. Hope I am not offending any faithful followers here.
solomon
Not to worry too much. All opinions are welcomed. This thread is not biased against people going for classes.
jdu
I prefer a balance of both class and equipment. It boils down to the objective of the gym membership that one takes up. each gym has their own target group and core focus. Quote Life is like a river flowing into the sea, Love Life. amplify
I usually combine weight lifting and some group exercises which I really enjoy to keep me going. jdu
dumby
I use to just workout using weights, but I must say, FF has transformed a lot these few years - for the better. Equipment are now very much focused on functional training, which I'm still learning to use all the new toys they have provided. I find them really good as I have been really bored and unmotivated with just weights training. I've also been going for a lot more lessons, even yoga. Variety and having a group instructor there to motivate me is helping me keep disciplined and interested when I'm in the gym. I've also rationalised that since I'm paying so much for the membership, might as well use their classes and special equipment to the max. If I just go for weights can easily settle for a much cheaper neighbourhood gym. GoodInBedBFmaterial
