Ugly Lines on Body

Hi brothers,

I need an advice with regards to a very personal concern. Since young even when I am not heavy, I noticed my body always have ugly lines. I do not know why these lines develop but they make me uncomfortable to undress in front of people. At first I suspect it was due to some weight I put up that cause the skin to stretch but as I mentioned, I have it since young...even when I am like 170cm and 62kg. So it cannot be a overweight issue. Can any brother advise how can I get rid of them? Thank you.

I don't see any reason why you should be overly concerned about such lines. Quite frankly, I don't even think people will notice it or say stuff like, "Hey, why do you have those lines on your body?" It really looks very normal to me.

Furthermore, if you still see them as imperfections, is anyone born perfect in the first place? And I don't think many of us here have porcelain-perfect skin.

Move on, and gain more confidence. (And build up more muscles. Heh...)

Some people have good genes while some otherwise. Those who are born with good genes will have nice complexion, if not then you have to take care of your own body by going to spa, exercising and suntanning (vitamins D), go for a dip in the sea, do this regularly I think it should improve!

Agree with @Guest thinktoomuch that those lines are not ugly. Use a body scrub gel daily when you shower and moisturise your bod immediaitely after you towel dry. This will definitely reduced the appearance of these fine creased lines within a week or 2, and long term will prevent others from appearing too quickly. And do take up suggestions by gstringuy26.

Try using some oil to improve your skin tone and elasticity, the best is Castor Oil or Sweet Almond Oil. You can mix them with jojoba oil and add a few drops of essential oil like Lavender, Neroli or Frankincense. Apply 3 times a day but these type of lines and stretch marks can take time to fade away.

Try not to tan when the sun is extremely hot as it will cause skin cancer. Over tan also lead to dark spots in the skin and become more uglier. Just tan when the sun is not too bright and for a short duration will do.

Yes, agreed. Not more than 30 mins if the sun is strong at 1 go. You need to moderate yourself.

If you sunbathe between the hours of 11am and 3pm you will create the best chances for you getting a decent tan.

If you buy a sun screen that is specifically designed for tanning with a lower (but high enough to protect you) SPF, then you can get tanned without risking getting burned or getting horrible skin conditions or even skin cancer. It is always worth protecting yourself.
