limpeh
Hi guys, I'm a long time user of Optimum Nutrition's whey and I've been seeing a lot of Myprotein online and on youtube lately. There's a 25% off promo now but I was wondering if anyone here uses any of their products? Any reviews?

limpeh
Just ordered! $56 for a 2.5kg worth of whey protein is really cheap compared to ON ($89!)
nave
TBH, is pretty good. I take the flavourless whey, healthier in my opinion without binders, fillers, artificial Flavours, sweeteners etc. It tastes like diluted milk.
marysenter
Sardines are a good take-along protein source. Just peel the top off the metal can and munch on them after a workout, but be sure to brush your teeth afterwards.Sardines are also loaded with healthy omega-3 fats that help to reduce inflammation. That’s a good thing if you’re worried about after-exercise soreness. Enjoy them with whole grain crackers and mustard or toss them on onto a salad or into your next batch of homemade spaghetti sauce. They’re a good break from canned tuna. Sardines can be easily found in high-quality extra-virgin olive oil. More important is their function in making leucine, an amino acid, more effective in its role as the catalyst for protein synthesis. Some research also suggests that omega-3 fats can actually help older people overcome agerelated deficits in anabolism, making omega-3s especially important for older lifters. If you want to increase your muscle mass, you should aim to increase your insulin levels before working out. The optimal pre-workout meal should include a serving of lean protein such as fish, turkey, or egg whites along with a complex carbohydrate that is either the same size as the protein You can see more information in this post https://wikihomenutrition.com/sardines-health-benefits/ it provides more than function for workout. Guest nope
The problem with sardine is the salt content due to the tomato sauce. Also to eat sardine everytime after work out will make me not want to touch it ever again after a few weeks. I am taking vegetarian natural protein due to allergic reactions to whey, so far so good. Taste better than whey protein too, and no sugar. http://sunwarriorsingapore.com/classic-protein/
thepresentfitness
I bought the Brown rice protein.. its tasteless but i don't mind, and the good thing is the powder dissolves easily (unlike some which is hard to dissolve), and it is Vegan friendly (though i am not a strict vegetarian). But then it is more expensive than other proteins.. And to save a bit of $, i bought more like the pic shown here... cos free delivery with purchase above $120. The discounts are very enticing, but I worry about getting the food like cookies and brownies in case they suck haha.

Dreamer08
I regularly order from MP. It's pretty cheap, and delivery is quite fast normally. I normally order from the EU website and not the Singapore one. The EU websites sometimes have deals like 45GBP for 2x 2.5kg protein powders. That's close to $100 for 5kgs. They have a wide range too, and I've never had a complaint about their products (bloated stomach, bad taste, etc). Just that sometimes the outer cardboard packaging is all messed up from the Long-distance delivery.

I haven't ordered in a while, but if I'm not wrong the last time I ordered you had to spend a minimum of £100 for free shipping, otherwise it'd be £10. speedoluver
i ordered total protein to try and i like that it is not too sweet. It is easy to mix in water too. The order was from singapore website and the bags were covered with (i assume) protein powder when delivered. Not sure if the bags are broken. limpeh
My order for Myprotein's Whey Protein Isolate arrived last week and safe to say, I'm pretty happy! Happy enough to go one more round of shopping and got some vitamins, casein, and creatine. Delivery time is about 3 weeks.
