Gain strength and flexibility

Hello everyone, I have never used the gym, and don't know anything about fitness jargons such as "reps".

Would anyone recommend any exercise regime that could increase strength and flexibility of my whole body? Looks don't matter, I just need them to perform my job better in the army.

In addition, it would be really nice if you can recommend some non meat food instead of protein drinks..? Because its the idea of eating too much.. meat... that keeps me from going to the gym! I don't judge those who do, but I strongly feel that its really just not for me.

My ippt is as such, if it helps to give me better advice:

Push up - 44

Sit up - 44

Run - 9:40-10:00

You are IPPT Gold standard guy...woahseh

Strength: Try dragonboat?

Flexibility: Do yoga or gymnastics?

Non-meat food: tofu, cheese, spinach, milk,  beans, nuts, all in moderation!

Hahah we all assume that IPPT goal would mean combat ready, but it wasn't meant to be that way. What kind of job is the treadstarter (TS) doing in the army?

Not in my vocation. Most of us have ippt gold, and ippt silver is considered weak. We need to wear suit that cover up our whole body which also limit our air intake and carry heavy things while thinking of how to solve the problem for a type of training.. combat engineer work. I usually get tired out from carrying the things and can't think properly anymore so I hope that it would help by improving physical strength. We might also need to reach out to uncomfortable places and squat for long  periods during the training so I think flexibility might help..

Actually its more than that. For training tactical populations, we usually use another form of "measurement" or training approach. Particularly I would want to pay special attention to the ability to respond quickly and like you mentioned strength. So power training is something that I would implement as part of the training. Furthermore, load carriage training would be useful. So in terms of the approach, it would be beneficial to adopt power training. Things like cleans, Tyre flips, medicine ball throws, interval sprints would come in handy. Load carriage training would be done in a progressive manner. What you need is mobility training as well to reduce injuries and to get the "proper joints" to work. Hip, ankle and shoulder mobility is important. So drills in those aspect will come in handy. Google them on youtube and you should be able to find some drills and animations to help you in your training.
