So i managed to try Derick. It's a house. Traveling might take a while if you don't drive. He doesn't stay alone. I didn't bump into anyone but i could hear them. I'm usually abit hesitant because i want to remain discreet. but nowadays with mask and cap, i'm more ok.

Changed and went back to the massage bed. I was given a few choices of oil. the massage overall was not too bad. He will explained what he is pressing as he goes along the way. There are some hit and miss but i did feel better. 

 

The ambience was ok. I would go back if i'm around the area, just the price is reasonable also. 😃

And I managed to try Troy also. He also doesn't stay alone and i never met anyone except his dog which he will asked if you are afraid but the dog is very quiet. i did few abit clutter too cause you are surrounded haha but the calming music ease you away.

 

Shower and got ready for massage. If you are looking for sensual or hanky panky, i would say don't even try because this is legal sport massage. You will feel pain because he is trying to release the tension and knots. I would say it's quite intense. I would said his technique is unique but it's what a sport massage should be, targetted point, pressing in. moving towards it. I really feel better.

 

The whole treatment was done professionally and the oil used is not very oily as he won't recommend you to shower but if you want, he won't stop you. as for the pricing, it's definitely on the pricer side but i would say it's worth if you allow him to work your body.

Honestly, I find all these reviews here do not help much in terms of massage style, as it is very subjective to individual liking. I mean I have tried those with good reviews turned up to be so-so only in my opinion. In contrast, those average reviews turned out to be better than those good ones. When I said good reviews I mean those which were ranked 7.5 and above in terms of skill.

Went up & when I enter their flat, I was taken aback by how bad the area was kept. They tried their best to be as professional as possible, but, the place was just like some random, messy, old, run-down flat. It was just not the place that was shown in their FB. I was then guided to their masterbed room’s toilet to shower. They have a set of kimono & a towel. No specific place to put my stuff & I had to place my items on their bed. The toilet was okay with a wide variety of shampoo & shower gel to choose from. Flooring was elevated with “holey-mats” meant to allow user to step above the water but it was actually quite painful to step on & unhygienic as well. Then here comes the scary part. The towel smelt so bad. It’s the kind of damp smell. It was horrible. I had no choice but to use it as I already done showering & it will be super weird/rude to stop/reject the massage session.

 

Held my breath & I proceeded to wear the kimono. Then I was asked to move to another room. They offered me a drink & Alex sounded quite proud when he was introducing the “dick-shaped” ice cube in the drink. I’m like what? -.- 

 

Next was a disaster. Like a super awkward disaster. They got me to sit on a sofa bed & I had to listen to their preset advertisement playing through their speaker & having Erza to try & show off their products. OMG! This is really a no-no. I’m not too sure if others went through the same thing & liked how they did it, but I really cannot take such awkwardness. I was glad the advertisement did not last more than 10mins. 
 

Finally it was massage time. Massage bed was too small for me, half my calves were dangling in the air, slightly uncomfortable but still acceptable. Massage skills were just so-so, really. Especially Erza, he was shaking when he was applying strength & I just felt that he was not even pressing hard enough. They did ask about the massage strength but I felt bad if I asked for harder/stronger presses cause I don’t think Erza can manage it. What I expected from a 4-hands massage was coordination. But both of them did a bad job at that. One of them kept forgetting the strokes & the other person had to hint him by hitting him on the arm. All these small little details irritated me & I did not have an enjoyable massage time. Told them not to bend my knees at the start, Erza forgot immediately & started bending my knees. Luckily Alex remembered & reminded him. Good point here. So the massage ended with non-coordinated light touches here & there. 
 

Now, the scrub part. I cannot choose the scent as Alex said it will be better to follow from the top & change when I visit the next time. (but there won’t be a next time haha) So being a near 1.9m-tall person, I had to stand with my legs wide open for them to scrub my upper body easily. Why they did not think of getting a stool to stand on instead of making me stand in an uncomfortable position? It was nice of them to offer to shampoo my hair but the same thing happened, I had to bend down for them to reach my hair. I told them it will be better for me to do it myself but they insisted to do everything for me. Trying their best to make it look & feel like an “atas” experience. Which it’s not & they made it super uncomfortable. Recommendation for them, if the customer is taller than you, get a scrub table for him to lie down or get stepping stools to stand on instead. Horrible experience for me

 

After the scrub, Erza took me back to the massage room to get my stuff. I made payment through paynow. (Good point as I’m a kind of person that really hates queueing up at ATM to withdraw cash) I didn’t give tips as I was just so disappointed with the whole thing. He also offered ice green tea, tasted like Pokka~

 

Guess what happen next. Erza told me to sit down & listen to another round of pre-recorded advertisement. OMG! I rejected him straight way, telling him I need to a catch the public transport home & rushed off. 
 

Now the ratings,

 

Environment: 2/10

Massage skills: 3/10

Service: 5/10 (it will be better if there’s no advertisement)

Overall: 4/10

 

Will I ever go back? Absolute NO.

Recently also tried this home based masseur. 2.5 months of no massage during circuit breaker. Going once a week but making sure the massuer have in check in place.

 

7-10mins walk from the Train Station. Not too far but also not very near. The home is clean and I was usher into the massage room. Though it’s near the corridor but there was no sound when massage was been done.

 

showers are allow and the towels are really soft. The only minus for me is that I have to walk past the main door and windows to get to the toilet, which mean I might have a chance to bump into the neigbour only with a towel though there is a mesh curtain. Yeah.

 

Water was served before massage so I could sip and I was ready for the massage. His technique and skill are not too bad. Enough strength and you can get him to moderate. i would say overall it’s good. And I’m happy to return for second time as the price is affordable too.

So i'm not sure if i have reviewed this because the moderator did remove some posts of mine as it created some argument but that's fine. I chanced upon it when i was at the area so decided to try it out because they have some promo.

 

Overall feel of it was not too bad. Because of covid, we do have to check in and gave particular. The only thing i was abit uncomfortable was my details remain on the ipad when i was usher into the room which means others might see. Yeah.

 

The room itself looks abit outdated, light was already dim but could see that it's old. I required to shower first, hence walked past the hallway and when i return, i did bump into a client too but we were both wearing mask so i guess that's ok.

 

Music was abit too loud for me but i don't think they can adjust it as it will affect the other room. Masseur did check in on strength and coldness. Technique else was comfortable so is strength. I was looking for a relaxing massage so it's cool. Will not be my choice if i need to fix the shoulder or back.

 

The promo included scrub, it was an interesting experience. warm scrub so it's quite nice.

 

Overall it's ok especially with the promotion but i do feel it's time for some updates on the decor but given the time and situation we are in, i guess they will wait it out.

They used a lot of part timers and so it is difficult to request for the same masseur always; and the quality of massage varies from masseur to masseur. I was once a regular customer and enjoyed their body scrub.

Gotten to try out this massuer. It's actually not at Simei but much nearer to Tanah Merah area. Booking was not too difficult, managed to get a slot. 

 

Don't really like lying on the mattress as i find it hard to rest my head in a proper position.

 

Skill:

You would know He did have some training but it's not your tuina type of massage. More swedish and abit accupoints. Most of the sequences was quite routine but towards the end, He did strokes on the 1 side but forgot on the other side. I didn't mentioned to him because i thought he would remember but he didn't.

 

Cleanliess:

Overall, it's quite ok. Toilet shower area can be more clean but that's just me. Where you lie down, there is a clean towel so you are not just lying on the mattress which is good. The oil was not too oily. so it's great too.

 

Ambience:

Fan & Aircon is on the same thing so it do get cold especially if you shower hot water before your massage. Music was played so ok. Area where massage is done is dark enough.

 

Pricing:

I think it's average and ok. 

 

 

The only issue i might have is massage was done before 60mins was up. so that's like a downside for me. I'm not sure why but it started well but ended ok.

So i guess this is really the norm. Where check in is required whenever you go unless it's HDB. 

 

You guys would probably know that I preferred Massaged bed to mattress. The mattress is quite firm but my issue will be again hard to rest my head. 1 thing to improve, give a proper pillow or boltster. I was given a small round cushion which didn't help. The area is also abit small so i'm not sure about plus size guys. If you prefer to see scenery the bed/mattress is right next to the window where you will see a good view but i prefer to close my eyes.

 

Shower is provided. nothing much to complain but only 1 thing, The towel given was a small one and what i didn't like was the same towel was used to "cover my body" which was a no no to be la. cause it's dam and it's not a nice feeling. so if you can, pls use different towel because the same towel was given back to me to use again. 

 

Skill:

I gave a 7 because the strength was good and He was able to release some knots and he was able to identity certain issue in my body. He does check on you on the strength and pressure. So it's not entirely swedish swedish but you can check if you want a more relaxing massage. The cons might be because of space constraint, the hand portion i felt it was abit fast. 

 

Cleanliness:

I'm a clean freak so it was abit messier than i can take it haha as a whole so yeah plus the towel minus some points. 😃

 

Ambience:

 Music was played during the massage and for me, it's not dark enough because the curtain was drawn to a level where when you lie down, you can see the view but i don't need the view. so maybe you can request next time. 

 

Pricing:

I think the pricing is the usual average pricing. So can do give it a try.

You guys would probably know that I preferred Massaged bed to mattress. The mattress is quite firm but my issue will be again hard to rest my head. 1 thing to improve, give a proper pillow or boltster. I was given a small round cushion which didn't help. The area is also abit small so i'm not sure about plus size guys. If you prefer to see scenery the bed/mattress is right next to the window where you will see a good view but i prefer to close my eyes.

 

Shower is provided. nothing much to complain but only 1 thing, The towel given was a small one and what i didn't like was the same towel was used to "cover my body" which was a no no to be la. cause it's dam and it's not a nice feeling. so if you can, pls use different towel because the same towel was given back to me to use again. 

 

Skill:

I gave a 7 because the strength was good and He was able to release some knots and he was able to identity certain issue in my body. He does check on you on the strength and pressure. So it's not entirely swedish swedish but you can check if you want a more relaxing massage. The cons might be because of space constraint, the hand portion i felt it was abit fast. 

 

Cleanliness:

I'm a clean freak so it was abit messier than i can take it haha as a whole so yeah plus the towel minus some points. 😃

 

Ambience:

 Music was played during the massage and for me, it's not dark enough because the curtain was drawn to a level where when you lie down, you can see the view but i don't need the view. so maybe you can request next time. 

 

Pricing:

I think the pricing is the usual average pricing. So can do give it a try.

I would just want to say, I’m not super active in this space besides massage so with regards to what did the masseur do and organised. I can’t comment because I literally only met him the day I went for the massage.

 

I have informed him about what is happening and hope that he can clear the air or whatever that happens surrounding him.

Sorry if I have insulted anyone indirectly or in some way or another. First, I would like to clarify that I do block some profiles on my Twitter if they keep harassing me such as asking if I will be nude during the massage, if there will be HE/ other special services. I am sure other masseurs would do that too. Second, as my massage comprise of deep tissue techniques, I would have to turn down customers who are heavier as I do not want you to waste your money on a massage that would not be effective (rationale was always clearly stated when I send my standard list of questionnaires about your injury or skin allergy). Third, yes my twitter does have edging on it, and yes I do own a edging group, but don't everyone have a hobby or fetish? Yes I should have split my interest and "career" from one another, but I am doing this as a part-time for now to master and hone my craft, in the future, who knows, I might have my own BW post to promote my massage service full time. Last, no I do not edge my clients cause this is a professional massage and we both respect each others' time and professionalism.

U r gd but that does not make mean masseur is gd. 

 

Referring to that masseur - Don’t assume other masseurs do the same like blocking all. Then ur clients should not post such videos on Twitter. If u post on Twitter then u hv to be prepared for sexual questions. If it is harassing or insulting, tell them clients politely and sure they will understand. Blocking is such unprofessional attitude.

Hello, the masseur is providing a service and it is not a dating service.

You are getting a massage and most of your time, you will be relaxed and not with your eyes open and gawking at the masseur. So what if he is not your type.

It's a massage and not a fucking date.

Please respect the masseurs as they spend years horning their skills and are using their labour to  bring relief to your body. By focusing on the intengible, you are disrespecting them.
