I have been going to the gym four times per week for more than a decade, except when the company I was working for went out of business, and it took about a year to find another comparable job. Having to hustle to pull in irregular income, I stopped going to the gym, but resumed after getting a normal job again. That was two years ago. Before I started working out regularly, I was always busy with my job, and my waistline expanded from size 30 to size 34 but my arms were still skinny. That is obviously not an attractive physique. Gymming on a regular basis increased my strength level and musculature but the love handles wouldn't go away. At least not until my retrenchment. I had to eat sparingly to save money and the love handles shriveled away -- as did my muscles -- undoing all of that hard work. Upon returning to the gym I began to rebuild my body, but with food available on a regular schedule, the love handles returned with a vengeance. I have been trying so hard to get rid of them but nothing works. Fat can't be spot reduced except through starvation. So now I'm desperate and considering liposuction. But is this a good idea or will it make things worse? What side effects or complications should I be worried about? Please let me know based on your experiences. There are non invasive options now like CoolSculpting and Liposonix, which may also be more affordable, but results vary. Do your research. I had stuborn love handles and this works.... i dont have abs of steel but you can at least make them out! Warning ..... mornings during fast are torturous. I will consider it, but I have no energy when I don't eat for a long time, so need to make sure a fasting period won't affect my work or make me lose musculature.
