She said that with angmoh, there is blonde, brunette, all kinds of dark and fair shades. Blue, brown, green, etc eyes. Not really. Many ang moh still have similar looks to the untrained eye. I remember this scene in Michelle Chong's movie, Already Famous, where her character thought of two ang moh ladies as 'twins' when their faces were different.

Those routers I rent usually last me almost the day... just turn it off when you don't need it. Of course if you leave it on non-stop it will only last 4h-6h I believe. But it's the easiest option if you spend more than a few days in Japan. They ship it to your hotel and you ship it back in the envelope provided, franked, at the airport when you leave. It's not cheap cheap but still ok.

 

You might wanna compare with your roaming packages for example, sometimes, it's cheaper to just subscribe to a roaming package with your local operator before leaving. I did that when I only stayed 2-3 days.

A 7 day JR pass is worth two one-way trips by Shinkansen between Tokyo & Osaka so I'd say it's worth it.

However, if it's a 10 day trip in Osaka, you can try the 14 day pass and try to go to Hiroshima and Hakata to maximise usage.
