These are my answers:

 

1. Happo-en - Huh? What place is that??

2. Showa Kinen Koen - Will find time to go for winter illumination

3. Shunga exhibition - Didn't know that!

i would say it is neutral, not neither homophobic nor gay friendly

 

it is a tourist spot so the locals are used to people who don't seem to be from around town

I emailed Getwave once and got a response that they only accept Japanese speaking customers, so I suspect unless they have an English website, it's about the same, though this is the first time I've seen Urisen and Jam2014. 

 

Kids-jp have quite a few shops around Japan, and I've visited their Tokyo and Osaka shop during my trips in 2014 and 2015. I'll be heading there next month again, but keen to try the Danshi Gakuen group especially in Osaka. 

 

Let me give you my 2 cents on the "Kids" group: 

 

I've tried a few boys here and there in Tokyo Kids and Osaka Kids, and I can honestly say the quality is very variable. Mainly because although there is a big number of profiles in Tokyo, they are split between several shops, including Shinjuku-2-chome, Ikebukuro, Akihabara, Shibuya etc. The English website's location points to Shinjuku-2-chome, and the manager is usually reluctant to ask boys from other shop over and would recommend you to pick one in-house.

 

You might also want to do is comparing the actual Japanese sites' services to that of the English site. There are much more branches you can see, and they have things like "rape play", "anal development", "change course (switch boys halfway)" etc. which are not shown in the English site. Not essential, but interesting. 

 

Services are fairly straight forward. My recommendation is to go to the shop to select the boys as they'd show you on an iPad the full profile (without censorship) of the boys, highlight who is available and even might have a hidden one or two not on th site. At the shop the manager will give you a list of questions with answers (in English and Japanese) for you to select to communicate with him your needs.  Also because the rooms are discreet and well-equipped. Although the boys mostly don't speak or speak very little English, it's convenient to use Google Translate in Japan to get a gist of the meaning. But if you're like me, who have read manga, watched GV and anime, and maybe the odd J-dorama or two, you might also understand phrases like "daijoubu ka?", "itai", "onli-chan motto hayaku..." and "iku~ iku~". O(^_~)o

 

No tips required, everything is covered. If you look at the profile, you can see what the boys are available/agreeable to do. This includes "anaru" which means anal unless indicated otherwise. I think the best is to have a discussion with the manager on what you want or don't want before you make a decision, unless you know how the boy is like already and are going back for an encore. I've had really hot boys, like Mashiro (at Shinjuku-2-Chome with washboard abs) and Hiroyuki (formerly from Osaka, now in Ikebukuro, my preferred one); to very good techniques but not as good looking as their pictures like Yukino and Sohichi, to completely uninteresting and uninterested, Yoh. 

 

Overall, Japanese escorts are expensive. But the quality is oh so worth the price. I suspect they get "trained" before the job, and hence can do amazing things. Heck, I've learnt a new trick or two myself each time I visit.
