Lol Eliza Doolittle and her cover of Fuck You (Ceelo Green)

And Gnarls Barkley's Crazy given an acoustic treatment. It's still pure gold.

Not sure if you consider them as underground but they're alternative and these two are my absolute favourites! (I'm tagging their most/one of their more famous songs)

Florence + The Machine(she's the one that sang 'Spectrum' with a Calvin Harris remix)

Lana Del Rey(she's the one that sang 'Summertime Sadness')

and this song 'West Coast' is the perfect fuck song

I came. I saw. I kongkek.

Not sure about Lana, Florence and Marina if they are alternative, but their music is very likeable for me.

Maybe they are seldom heard on the airwaves.

Flipping through my iPod, came across The Automatic and Monster.

It's about drug abuse, I believe. The song's pretty wild, no?

Just checked this song out and it's awesome. Love the last part!

Imogen Heap's new song :thumb:  ....... great change-up in time signatures, cannot stop listening to it. Especially towards the end, I love surprises!

She's so Aaliyah in Queen of the Damned.

Ok heard Vow from Meredith Monk and youtubed her work...

Queer tune but rather captivating.

serve me up queen of the damned anytime.

eerie harmony in dissonance

oh well the devil makes us sin but we like it when we're spinning, in his grin.

Haven't posted in my own thread for a while, but I really haven't been listening to alternative lately.

2010s alternative is just not for me, I guess. I think 1990s is still the golden decade for alternative.

Anyway, here's No Doubt.

This is such an awesome thread. Nice to know there are people like us having more or less common ears for such music. Wish we could hangout sometime.

Sometimes she is so good...like All is full of love and Unravel but most of the time I just want to slap her face...repeatedly

No no no.... I think she's almost consistently brilliant (except on Drawing Restraint 9 and the sometimes sleepy Biophilia.... whoops).

Here for Unravel being one of her best too! And Hyperballad, Joga and Cocoon. Those are my Top 4 from Bjork.

Biophilia was lack-lustre for me..... I like my Bjork ...... industrial-bonkers-hard-edge-electro......... songs like pluto , enjoy......... and there's a lil demo of where is the line (live).......... but she's getting wee bit folksy nowadays = boring.

This is before the Medulla version, kicks ass!
