01. You need to extract the rar files - basically, it is unzipping the encrypted files. Use winrar software to do it.

02. Download Klite mega codecs for the classic media player. Once installed, you will be able to play your rm files.

rar is a compressed file, similiar to zip file, you need winrar to un-compressed before you can view

rm is Real media file, one way is to download real media player (www.real.com) another is follow iku's suggestion. Currently i am using Real alternative, after install you can view RM files with Window media player

where to download the Classic Media Player?

Here

With the K-Lite Codec Pack you should be able to play all the popular movie formats and even some rare formats. This package is mainly for power users and people who do their own encodings.

Features of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 3.7.5 :

• Player:

- Media Player Classic [version 6.4.9.1 rev. 36]

and so on ...

as mentioned in my posting on another topic, it is not just the player, you need to have the relevant codecs to view the different video formats (divx, avi, mkv, rm, rmvb etc)

Iku's suggestion of the Klite comprises of most of the major codec available, so it is a good bet to install that.
