I sometimes get requests for outcall but the price is not cheap; I charge $250 for 90 minutes. The additional $150 is to compensate for traveling time and travel cost. Not many people understand the concept that time is money; so, they do not factor in the time you need to travel to their place and the return journey time. It is not uncommon for me to have 3 back-to-back bookings with a 30min buffer in between each appointment. Hence the potential lost earning which is commonly known as opportunity cost. Depending on the hour of the day; it is not uncommon to experience a price surge on a grab ride. In my past 6 years of operating in BW; I have two customers willing to pay the price. One of them has booked twice and another has booked my services 3 times. One of them is an expatriate medical doctor working for one of the private hospitals in Singapore; and wanted to be very discreet. This is a new customer who wanted to experience for himself, what he had heard from others; unfortunately, he had a very tight foreskin which when pulled back caused a lot of pain. Yesterday I had another one of those busy day with 5 customers starting from 3pm and ending at last slot at 11pm; there were one new customer and 4 repeat customers. This is a common scenario on a Monday to Friday; and that's why I am now trying out a weekend promotional trial. If it proves to be popular, then it will become a permanent feature. The weekend promo has proven to quite effective; normally on a weekend I get one booking or zero but this weekend I received 5 bookings. I have a few customers who regularly comes to me after a late-night dinner and drinking session with their friends or clients. Ending a late night out with a massage is a sure way of getting a good night sleep. Being a full-time masseur, I am able to accept late night bookings because there is no need to wake up early the next morning. Also, appointment bookings are unpredictable; I could have a free day until the evening at 7pm then I have 2 to 3 back-to-back bookings. I do not charge a late-night fee because there is no traveling involved; I am mostly home based. If I do not receive a booking by 11.30pm; I will end the day and head off to sleep. It is good that new customers let me know that their foreskin cannot be pulled back; so that I do not cause them any discomfort. Two or three times a month, I get a request for a late-night slot. I usually accept it because there is no travelling involved and I also do not charge a late-night fee. As I am doing massage full time; so, I am able to sleep in late the next day. It is not uncommon now that I get booking for appointment from customers flying out of Singapore or returning from a trip overseas; unfortunately, last Thursday I already had a busy night and so was unable to accept his booking. It is quite frustrating for me that my customers do not come to me regularly every day for 2-3 appointments, instead I have busy days with up to 8 bookings and some days with none. Ten experienced cooks were given a recipe by a 3 Star Michelin Chef; they all set to cook the meal, following the steps given and the right amount of ingredients. When they had completed cooking and presented it to the Michelin Chef; all the 10 dishes vary in taste from each other and was also different in taste from when the Michelin Chef cooked it. The moral of the story is that cooking is more than following recipe, but the fine skills and experience of the cook is very important.
