I think you're only allowed in to New South Wales and Victoria as these are the only states with Corona. I'm going on a little holiday break next week to Sydney, as this is the only place I can travel interstate without having to do quarantine. Hotels are quite cheap in Sydney right now which is also a bonus. If I get the travel bug, I might check out if there is any deals to the little pink dot. You are allowed to leave the premise and re-enter. They stamp an invisible stamp on your arm before you leave so that they know not to charge you again when you re-enter. Besides a steam room and a sauna, they also have a jacuzzi pool. One of the rooms is mirror lined, and have a mirror on the ceiling as well. They accept passports as a photo ID for foreign patrons. The photo ID details are scanned and there is a camera that captures the face of the patrons when they visit.
