lonelyglobe
correct me if I m wrong, isn't Michelin award something that can be arranged and paid for? If so, I don't think it is convincing enough just like the famous $2 soy chicken rice, I found that is actually quite crap but don't know why they can get the award and don't even understand why so many people can queue up hours for it under extremely hot and humid condition. Cube3
Tried the Rolina Traditional Hainanese Curry Puff at Tanjong Pagar food centre: not bad, price at $1.50 about the same as Old Chang Kee's? But different in that the filling is a little peppery and the crust more deep-fried (I think). Not sure it stands out that much: my favourite has always been Ikea's 80cts curry puffs cheap and delicious!
