Have you bought TOTO ? Closing tonight 9pm. Estimated 11 million jackpot.

Last nite, passed by ChongPan and saw the super long TOTO queue.

Spent a total of $40... bought from 8 different locations...

didnt buy from chongpang though... hehehe...

Wa.... $5 from each locations. If any of these places came out TOP price, your chance is high. I buy my own numbers, not thru quick pick. I spend a night ticking until my hands numbed. :thumb:

from 7th october , toto game will change match 6 numbers from 45 total to match six numbers from 49 numbers total.

 

the odds have gone up from 1 in 8 million plus to odds of 1 in  13,983,816  ( 13 million plus )  the price to pay for quick pick system 7 went up from previous $3.50 to $7 , althouth the basic ticket of two games still cost $1 , the odds of winning have gone higher against winning,

 

althought it said the minimum sum have gone up from $650,000 to a minimum of $1,000,000 for the group one price structure for the first draw.

 

The odds have gone up gainst winning, but they offer a higher winning prize,

 

Seems Iike  will cut down my buying of TOTO from 6th  the october onwards.

 

My dream of retiting with a toto winnings , and sepending my remaining days, acting like a leech at gay saunas seem to have puff into smoke by next month

Well for those you don't know..toto was 49numbers before it was reduced to 45.

3numbers you win something not like 3+1 to win anything.

 

No one is forcing you to play. BTW minimum bet I understand is $1 still although the ordinary 50c bet is now $1.

There is no need to do basic ticket of 2 games. Just one game is enough.

Personally I feel 3numbers winning small prize is better for the masses...get some bullet back to reload :D

 

Life itself is a gamble..a journey of choices..that eventually ends  when you stop breathing. Enjoy the journey whatever comes next no one really knows. Live well :D

What to do? It is monopoly here and there is no other choice. All bets are going to cost double and more difficult to win. So "basic ticket of two games" will cost $2. Not $1 anymore.

The reason they give is that someone increased their tax rate, so they restructure the whole thing to make up for their loss.

The gaming is one of the most  profitable setups. Why do you think they want to kill off the illegal bookies.

The odds alone are favoured to the dealer even if they pay all the punters the prize money.

 

Toto is even worse we need to share the prize money if there are more than I winner.

 

I use to play the 49ners in UK before.

You can bet one number to 6numbers..the prize money is as per bet..no sharing of your winnings.

 

They should rename their website  sgpoolssurewin.com.sg ;)

It's a game of chance and probability.

My late mum used to win $500 quite regularly when I was a teen. If I remembered correctly it was then to circle any three numbers on the Toto coupon. If all three numbers match the set of winning numbers you will be $500 richer. Those were the days.

I don't get it.  Increase the number of balls to 49 should correspondingly reduce the price of betting, since the chance of winning is substantially reduced.  Why they increased the price is beyond my understanding. 

 

Some people may argue the increase in winning price from $600K to $1mil thus increase in betting price.  It is not like $1mil is a lot because when the balls were 45, the price can snowball to as high as $3mil-$5mil.  They should up the top price to at least $3mil to justify the increase in betting price.

they never force you to buy, they know even they increase it people still continue to bet,

so, what to do, it is only way to 买小博大 。

The odds now is 1 in 13,983,816 . that is picking a combination of six matching numbers out of a possible 13 Million 9 hundred thousand , 83 thousands, and 816 combination of numbers versus the previous 1 in 8,145060 , plus the bets have doubled from 50 cents to a dollar for a set of six numbers.

 

The odds are staggering, you are losing twice the amount of money for a 13,983,816 odds

Damn ... the lucky winner walks away S$2.085 Mil for a quickpick ordinary ... seems like that store at Bendemeer had strike a lot of Group 1 prizes.

 

For Grp 2 winner also damn lucky, sole winning of S$280 K with a quickpick of system 8

probability of jackpot has increased by 1/(46x47x48x49) = 1/ 508K from older system.

more chances of rolling over the winnings and make the jackpot bigger.

less likelikhood of several people sharing the jackpot.

and result is more people betting and singaporepool make more.

Just wondering, those who buy toto, normall prefer quick pick or choose your own numbers ?

I fold 49 numbers and put in a small tin.  Than knelt before Toa Peh Kong and started to shake the tin until all the 6 numbers "jumped" out.  I also get my parrot to pick the number for me.  Those toy lottery balls wheeler is also common in toy shop.  All these were did out of fun. I also have new suggestion for the fun of it.  I draw 49 squares on a cork board. Than I throw six dart at it. :whistle:
